KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak extended Hari Raya greetings to Malaysians on his Facebook account in conjunction with the festival.
“Aidilfitri greetings from me and my family to Malaysians in the country and abroad,” he said in his special message on his official Hari Raya card uploaded to his Facebook account on Thursday night.
The Prime Minister’s Hari Raya card attracted the interest and comments of 300 of his fans and friends on Facebook within hours of the card being uploaded.
These people also took the opportunity to extend Hari Raya greetings to Najib.
Lam Yuen Hou said: “Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri, maaf zahir dan batin, dear PM! May the Almighty bless you and guide you always to enable you to lead this nation of ours to greater heights, harmony and prosperity! Thank you.”
Termizi Ahmad wrote: “Selamat Hari Raya to YAB Dato’ Seri and family ... hopefully Allah (God) will bless all of us, and let’s hope Malaysia continues to progress.”-Bernama
